The transmission speed sensor is used to gathered vehicle speed information from the transmission whilst in use, providing accurate data to the vehicle's computer and speedometer.

A bad or failing transmission speed sensor may prevent the speedometer and/or cruise control (if installed) from functioning.

SPECIAL NOTE:
NOT SUITABLE FOR HOLDEN VSII & VSIII COMMODORE MODELS BUILT AFTER JUNE 1996
